We understand that sick pets and emergencies can evoke heightened states of emotion. However, we believe in mutual respect and do not tolerate the abuse of Gem City Vet staff members under any circumstances. Gem City Vet staff members are held to a code of conduct, and we expect those we interact with also to be held to the same standards of kindness and mutual respect.

We will not tolerate verbal or written communications that involve:

• Disrespect, blaming, shaming, or guilting

• Threats to harm or dump pets

• Raised voices or talking over our staff members

Anyone participating in these activities is subject to removal from our premises and may be barred from returning. Let’s support each other with compassion, kindness, patience, and recognition that each person is doing their best.
